About

She worked as Principal Investigator (National Postdoctoral Fellow: 2018-2020) in SERB-DST funded project “Quantitative Trait Loci mapping for agricultural important traits in safflower (Carthamus tinctorius L.)” at Department of Botany, University of Delhi, North Campus, New Delhi. She has earned her Ph.D. in (Biological Science) on title “Mapping quantitative trait loci for traits related to biomass in Arabidopsis thaliana” from Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research–National Botanical Research Institute (AcSIR-NBRI), Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India. She has obtained her M.Sc. from the Department of Genetics and Plant Breeding, Institute of Agricultural Sciences, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India. However, she has published 11 research articles, 1 review article and training manual in reputed journals. She has awarded Foreign Travel Grant from Department of Biotechnology-CTEP and Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) in 2019. She has invited as speaker in the “2nd International Conference on Plant & Molecular Biology” held on 23rd-25th October 2019 at Amsterdam, Netherlands and world bank-ICAR funded NAHEP-CAAST training program on "Pre-breeding and Molecular breeding approach: Two important pillars for the vegetable and crop improvement" held on 17th February-1st March 2020 at ICAR-National Institute for Plant Biotechnology, New Delhi. In addition to that she has attended several national, international conferences and member of various scientific societies.
