About

Dr. Aadil Ummar Zaman is an Assistant Professor (Economics) at the School of Business Studies, Sharda University, Greater Noida. He earned his Ph.D. in Economics from Aligarh Muslim University, where his doctoral research focused on the performance of cooperative banks. Following the completion of his Ph.D., he joined the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Bhopal as a Postdoctoral Fellow, where he further advanced his research in productivity and efficiency analysis. Prior to his current position at Sharda University, he also served as an Assistant Professor at Adani University, Ahmedabad. Dr. Zamans research broadly focuses on productivity and efficiency analysis, banking and financial institutions, sustainable development, and applied econometrics. His scholarly work has been published in several reputed journals, including Discover Sustainability, Indian Economic Journal, International Journal of Rural Management, Studies in Microeconomics, and Humanities and Social Sciences Communications. He has also presented his research at leading academic conferences and contributes to ongoing research on financial sector performance, productivity dynamics, and environmental sustainability. He qualified the UGC-NET examination in 2018 and was awarded the MANF Junior and Senior Research Fellowships by the University Grants Commission. Dr. Zaman teaches courses in microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics, international economics and financial economics.
