She is a linguist and a seasoned training professional. She worked as a Lecturer , Linguistics in Delhi University for about 6 years and has Industry experience of about 7 years working with well known companies namely, British School of Language New Delhi, NIIT New Delhi, Spanco Tele Systems Mumbai, HCL Noida. She has travelled and trained all over India in well known companies like Electronic Data System Mumbai, Electronic Data System Pune, Birla Soft Chennai, Birla Soft Bangalore, D.E. Shaw Hyderabad, IBM Daksh Delhi, IMA Dehradun, GAIL Noida . She has worked as a Training Manager with HCL Noida. She has also published articles on Applied Linguistics in the Indian Journal of Applied Linguistics and has worked with SCERT , writing English course books for primary and Middle schools. She was with AmityUniversity where she taught courses in ‘Business Communication and ‘Communication Skills for MBA,/M.Tech, /M.Sc. programmes and has also conducted several corporate trainings on behalf of Amity namely with Indian Military Academy Dehradun, Commonwealth Trainings, Delhi, Gail Noida and with Industrial Security Force , New Delhi.
She is also a classical musician and a singer and is a regular performing artist at All India Radio, Akashwani, N. Delhi.
Presently, she is with Sharda University as an Associate Professor teaching courses in Professional Communication,aimed at developing and enhancing the professional skills of the undergraduate and post graduate Engineering students .
