About

Anamoy is a seasoned corporate leader and academician with over three and a half decades of combined experience spanning high-performance business leadership, entrepreneurship ecosystem development, and management education. He brings a dual-track record of driving revenue growth and cost optimization across diverse sectors including Consumer Durables, Financial Services, Education, Building Materials, Social Enterprise, and Sustainability.

He has held leadership roles at well-known organizations such as Whirlpool of India Ltd., ACC Ltd., Club Mahindra, Aye Finance, Educomp Solutions, and the Development Alternatives group. His corporate journey is distinguished by transformative results: he achieved 50% year-on-year revenue growth at Club Mahindra, and grew the EBITDA of Whirlpool's consumer service business by 50% year-on-year, scaling it into the company's second most profitable line. At Whirlpool, he also drastically reduced finished goods inventory by redesigning the supply model , and created the lowest transport cost structure in the industry at that time. At ACC, he facilitated the "Green Building Centre" initiative from scratch, supporting nearly 100 franchisees with a cumulative investment of $30 Million to manufacture precast concrete building materials and achieve profitability.

A passionate advocate for grassroots entrepreneurship and sustainable development, Anamoy has incubated first-time entrepreneurs in rural India at TARA Machines, where he grew company revenues four-fold. He revived a loss-making rural internet venture at n-Logue Communications, and led GHG emission Inventorisation and hyperlocal air quality measurement projects at Development Alternatives. He also converted water purification technology into a viable entrepreneurship package for non-farm rural enterprises. At Aye Finance, he set up ways of appraising the credit risk of large micro entrepreneurs, quickly achieving 10% of the total loan disbursements for the company from large loans to micro-entrepreneurs.
