Department of Physiology, Sharda School of Medical Sciences and Research, Sharda Hospital, Sharda University is organising a workshop on "AITO-Optics of Eye and Errors of Refraction"on 18th March 2026.

Objective of Events:

Describe the basic principles of light, refraction, and the optical components of the eye involved in image formation.
Explain the optical properties of the eye, including accommodation and the role of different ocular media in focusing light on the retina.
Discuss the types and mechanisms of refractive errors such as myopia, hypermetropia, astigmatism, and presbyopia.
