NIFT Delhi Alumni (Batch 1999-02) and a Bachelor of Computer Applications. Ankita S Pandey has over 18 years of Industry & Academic experience (Visiting Faculty at NIFT, Delhi) with proven leadership skills. Her expertise lies in designing Ready-to-Wear Fashion for Indian market, collection building & fashion forecasting.
She has designed for over 80+ brands such as Disney, Warner brothers, Game of Thrones, H&M, FCUK, Reid & Taylor & FreeCultr, Kmart to name a few. She has 16+ years’ experience of working with Creative & business leaders of global background. Under her Design leadership at BioWorld merchandising (India) Pvt. Ltd. The organization won award for 3 continuous years from Disney India in the category of Product Excellence & Design.
She has been the force behind execution of 2 successful Fashion shows by Sharda Fashion design students, at Chorus 2019 & Delhi Times India showcase week 2020.
An Apparel & clothing designer, Design consultant, Fashion forecaster, collaborator, mentor and now a teacher, with interests in sustainable Design theories for the future world and creating a more research-based design environment. Her current academic explorations include Sustainable fashion & functional fashion.
