About

Dr. Jitin Rahul is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Physics & Environmental Science, Sharda School of Engineering & Science, Sharda University (NAAC A+), Greater Noida, India. He has qualified for a national-level fellowship for the research of RGNF-JRF and MHRD-JRF in two different subjects, Botany and Environmental Science. Dr. Jitin Rahul earned his PhD degree from Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad with an MHRD fellowship. He has 6 years experience in the research field and 6 years experience in teaching (UG and PG level). He has published around 22 SCI/Scopus/ Web of Science indexed journal articles, 7 book chapters and 3 books with ISBN numbers. He was honored as Guest of Honor and invited to be keynote speaker by NORMI Research Foundation. He received the national educationist award from Avishkar Foundation and received the Best Oral Presentation award from the International Conference.

He was involved in national medicinal plant board, Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India funded project monitoring team member with National Productivity Council, New Delhi. He was monitored 9 Government project under the NMPB, Ministry of AYUSH. His post-doctoral research work in NATCOM-3 project funded by UNFCCC under the G.B. Pant Himalayan Research Institute, Almora. Uttarakhand. As an environmentalist and botanist, Jitin has explored various biodiversity conservation sites (Gujarat, Odisha, Bundelkhand, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand and mining regions (Sukinda Chromite mine and Jharia coal fields).
