Dr. Ratnakar Shukla

About

Dr. Ratnakar Shukla is an Associate Professor and Programme Coordinator in the Department of Clinical Research, Sharda School of Allied Health Sciences, Sharda University, Greater Noida. He holds a PhD from Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS), Lucknow, and has extensive research experience in gallbladder cancer, microbiota, molecular biomarkers, probiotics, and translational clinical research. Dr. Shukla has published more than 30 research articles in reputed national and international journals, along with several book chapters, patents, and collaborative international research projects with Japan and Germany. He has received multiple national and international awards, including travel grants from the Japan Surgical Society, and actively contributes to research mentorship, scientific writing, and academic development activities.

Area of Interest

Dr. Ratnakar Shuklas research focuses on gallbladder cancer, biliary microbiota, molecular biomarkers, and translational clinical research. His work primarily explores the role of microbiome dysbiosis, aflatoxin exposure, inflammatory cytokines, microRNAs, and oxysterols in the pathogenesis and early diagnosis of gallbladder diseases and gastrointestinal disorders. His additional research interests include probiotics, nutraceuticals, functional foods, antimicrobial resistance, and bioactive formulations for therapeutic and preventive healthcare applications.
