Dr. Manpreet Kaur holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, and is a UGC-JRF qualified researcher specializing in industrial economics, manufacturing productivity and structural transformation with focus on Punjab's manufacturing sector. She has published several peer-reviewed research papers in SCOPUS and ABDC-indexed journals, including International Journal of Productivity and Performance Management (ABDC-B listed), African Journal of Science, Technology, Innovation and Development, The Indian Economic Journal, and Research Journal of Textile and Apparel. Her research examines learning mechanisms, productivity growth, and technological advancement in manufacturing firms, particularly in developing economies. Her key research contributions include studies on structural changes in Punjab's manufacturing sector, learning mechanisms in MSME performance, and capability building in Ludhiana's Machine Tools Manufacturing Cluster.
