About

Ms. Abhinanda Bhattacharya has over 14 years of professional experience across the corporate and academic sectors. She has worked extensively in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, and Organizational Behaviour, holding key leadership roles in both public and private organizations.

She served as Divisional HR Head at WBSEDCL, managing HR operations across 15 units, and began her career as Deputy Manager (HR/IR) at Tata Steel Processing and Distribution Ltd., where she independently handled plant-level HR functions. In her last industry role, she was Country Head – HR for India and Swaziland at La Sorogeeka Interiors / ANCA International, leading end-to-end HR operations, compliance, leadership hiring, and policy development across both countries.

In academics, she has over 2 years of teaching experience and currently works as an Assistant Professor at Sharda University. She brings her industry experience into the classroom, aiming to blend practical HR insights with academic learning. Her areas of interest include AI in HRM, performance management, and strategic HR practices. She has presented at national conferences and published in UGC Care-listed journals.

She has also conducted corporate training sessions for organizations such as THDC India Ltd., HINDALCO, WBSEDCL, TSPDL and several others, and continues to contribute to academic-industry initiatives such as the Kaizen Excellence Awards and HR Conclave at Sharda University.
