Diversity club cultural society Sharda celebrated Diwali in Sharda University started decoration of entire campus auditorium with lighting of Diya and candles on 23rd October 2019, in the Sharda University in campus student Diwali is traditionally celebrated by Hindus, as well as by Sikhs and Janis. Because Hindus follow at each festival, Diwali is observed on a different day each year. On the occasion of Diwali the Department of student welfare cultural Society Diversity club organise Festival of light for student in festive mood. The main aim of this function is to provide the information about the Indian Culture to the International students. The International students give their hundred percent enjoy this ceremony. The entire campus was decorated by Diya candle and Light and different type of Rangolis. The participants student make Rangolis in front of auditorium and food fest organise in this occasion and in front of block-3 badminton court there are varieties of food stall organise by student . all the dignitaries were present in full of enthusiasm Thus function full of enthusiasm and full of light and enjoy.

RANGOLI COMPETITION:
Registration fees- Rs.50
Timing: 2 pm-3 pm.
Venue: Block-3, in front of Audi-014.
RULES: -Rangoli should be made from colors only.
-Bring your own colors.
-No extra time will be given.
-Maximum participants must be 2.
-Registration fees to be paid on the spot.
-Reach 45 mins prior to the competition.

FOOD STALL COMPETITION:
Registration fees: Rs. 200 per stall.
Stall set up time- 12 pm-4 pm.
Venue: Block-3, badminton court(in front of Audi-014)
RULES: - Preparation time of 2 hours(10 am- 12 pm) will be given.
-Bring your own ingredients.
-Only tables will be provided.
-Decorate your tables with your items as per your choice.
- Profit gained by your stall will be all yours.
-Registration fees to be paid on the spot.
-Maximum participants should be 4.

Winners will be selected by the judges for 1st,2nd positions.
