As part of the "Run for unity" celebration hosted by the Sharda University office of dean student welfare to mark the anniversary of Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel's birth, some 800 students, faculty members, and staff ran across campus. Girls students from the 31st NCC battalion eagerly participated in the event.
On this occasion, Dr. Nirupama Gupta, the Dean of Students Welfare, Mohit Sahni, Yashodhara Raj, the NCC Coordinator, and many others were also present.
