Phaneendra Nath Chaturvedi did his M. F. A. in painting from College of Arts & Crafts, Faculty of Fine Arts, and University of Lucknow. He worked on the research grant of Lalit Kala Akademi New Delhi and awarded National Scholarship for Young Artist, Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India. He was Assistant Professor at School of Design & Visual Arts, Apeejay Stya University, Gurgaon, School of Fashion & Design, GD Goenka University, Gurgaon and a visiting faculty at Govt. College of Architecture, UP Technical University, Lucknow and. He has received 5 awards including best exhibit award of AIFACS, New Delhi. Phaneendra has participated in almost all major all India exhibitions including national exhibition of Lalit Kala Akademi for last one decade. He has held first solo exhibition at U.P.State Lalit Kala Akademi, Lucknow in 2003. The one being at The Mint, New Delhi 2007 and artist of the month (January) at Saffronart, www.saffronart.com 2008 too, most recent at Karin Weber Gallery, Hong Kong 2012. His works have been exhibited in number of group shows such as Asian Young Artist held at Keumsan Art Gallery, Heyri Art Valley, Korea and Hybrid Trend, contemporary art exhibition at Hangaram Art Museum, Seoul Art Center, Seoul, Korea and most recent is “Ode To Monumental”, at the Lalit Kala Akademi, New Delhi and Jahagir Art Gallery, Mumbai. Phaneendra has featured regularly several auction houses in India and abroad since 2008. A short film made in 2012 “The Metamorphosis, the art of Phaneendra Nath Chaturvedi” has featured in several national and international art film festivals. He has invited as an artist in a number of national & international camps and workshops organized by Lalit Kala Akademi, Jammu & Kashmir Academy of Arts, Culture & Languages Jammu, National Art Camp for “8th National Art Festival” at Aizawl (Mizoram), organized by Lalit Kala Akademi, New Delhi, “KALA AAWAAS – 2010 “An International Workshop of painters and sculptors in Jaipur, U.P. State Lalit Kala Akademi, Lalit Kala Akademi regional center Lucknow, AIFACS New Delhi. His works are in various public and private collections in USA, UK, France, Austria, Hong Kong, China, South Korea, India and abroad including Lalit Kala Akademi, New Delhi, AIFACS, New Delhi, Department of Tourism Govt. of U.P., LBS Ganna Sansthan Auditorium Govt. of U.P., J & K Academy of Arts, Culture & Languages Jammu, Lalit Kala Akademi regional center Lucknow. Chaturvedi lives and works in Noida (Delhi NCR).
