About

Dr. Mridul Dharwal is working as a Professor of Economics in the Management Department, School of Business Studies, Sharda University, Greater Noida from 10th July 2007 to till date. He has visited UNO headquarter at Geneva in 2011 to understand the functions and role of UNO for the development of countries like India. He has travelled to many countries for academic assignments and for developing an understanding about the various economies for instance Italy, U.K., France, Switzerland, Singapore, Thailand, Dubai, Canada, Croatia, Austria, Bosnia and Nepal, He has successfully coordinated several International Study Programmes in Collaboration with Kings Western University, Canada, Payap University, Thailand and Visited John Cabot University, Italy, Bocconi University, Italy, Oxford Business College, London, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, Tribhuvan University, Nepal. He has visited Singapore Management University to understand high-impact, multi- and interdisciplinary research. He is instrumental in collaboration with Mendel University, Czech Republic and Australian Catholic University, Australia. He has successfully completed Erasmus + Teaching assignment at University of Dubrovnik, Croatia in 2023. He has been invited by Association of Common Wealth Universities for international collaboration and commitment to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through higher education.

Dr. Dharwal is working as Director, International Ranking and Accreditation. In this role he is responsible for university accreditation, quality & ranking processes.

He is an overall Co-ordinator of Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and Member of Core Team of NIRF (National Institutional Ranking Framework) He has been assigned the responsibility of Joint Coordinator of NAAC Steering Committee. He has Participated in the WOSA (World Summit on Accreditation) organized by the NBA.  He has actively participated in QS Rankings & Ratings workshops.  He has been Invited by Times Higher Education World University Rankings for Participating in Academic Reputation Survey, undertaken in partnership with Elsevier. He has participated in the Global Roundtable on Indian University Rankings organised by Times Higher Education Ranking & Association of Indian Universities.

He is also a Director of Sharda University Yunus Social Business Centre founded in 2021 as part of a partnership between the Yunus Centre in Dhaka, the Sharda University Yunus Social Business Centre promotes social business as a means of stimulating new ways to tackle social and environmental issues through innovative use of local resources.

He is a mentor of Skill Development Centre established in association with Export Promotion Industrial Park Welfare Association (EPIPWA). The aim of the centre is to upgrade and re-skill working professionals as per the industry requirements.

He has 13 Patent Publication; 02 International Patent (Australian Government and South Africa Government) granted; 03 Design Patent registered/granted & has 20 Copyright registered. He has published more than 30 Papers in Scopus indexed journals and more than 50 Papers in Web of Science/Indian Citation index/Peer reviewed/ UGC-Care listed journals & 40 book chapters/Conference Proceedings.  He has authored 04 books and 03 edited books to his credit.

He has successfully completed Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) and Digital Literacy project granted by MHRD, Government of India.  He has worked as a chairman of research team of study on impact of COVID-19 & 1918 as guided by UGC to HEIs.

He is extensively involved in Innovation and Extension activities. He is providing his expertise to Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority for monitoring the maintenance of existing Green belts and give suggestions for improvement. He has contributed to livelihood enhancement projects of Mon Ami Foundation and help over 100 families across different states during COVID-19. He has been awardedCertificate   of   Appreciation for   productive   and   dedicated   services for National   Cause   from MyGov, Government of India on 21st January 2020.

He has rich experience and expertise to conduct training sessions on Accreditation, Quality Education, Teaching Strategy, Teaching-Learning Process, and Classroom Management.
