Dr. Mandeep Kaur currently holds the position of Professor & Deputy HoD (B.Tech Final Year) at the Department of Computer Science & Engineering within Sharda University. Her impressive academic journey spans over 17 years, during which she has taught at various technical universities and institutions. Dr. Kaur is an active member of several professional societies, including Senior Member IEEE, LISTE, ACM, IEI, IFERP, IAENG, and others. Dr. Kaurs impressive track record includes the publication of over 60 patents, with more than 12 patents granted. She has also contributed to the academic community by writing four book chapters in Springer and WSEAS Press, and authoring over 70 research papers in internationally recognized Scopus/SCI indexed journals and conferences.
In addition to her research and academic pursuits, Dr. Kaur plays a significant role within Sharda University. She has been appointed as an Executive Council Member, received a Certificate of Merit with Class A for her participation in the Task Based Training (TBT-2017) under the e-Yantra Lab Setup Initiative (eLSI) at IIT Bombay. Dr. Kaur also fulfills various key roles within the academic ecosystem, including School Level Ph.D Coordinator, Department IoT Program Coordinator, ICT & Oracle Coordinator, and PBL (Project Based Learning) Coordinator. Her dedication extends to mentoring and guiding research investigations for undergraduate, postgraduate engineering students, and Ph.D. scholars, with a focus on areas such as Image Processing, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, and Soft Computing.
