About

Dr. Gautam Kumar completed his Ph.D. from Department of Pharmacology, Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal, Karnataka. He has more than 6 years of research and teaching experience. He qualified GPAT 2014, NIPER-JEE 2014, GPAT 2018. He received National Doctoral Fellowship from All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi to pursue his Ph.D. He has worked as Assistant Professor at School of Pharmacy, Faculty of Health Sciences, Dr. K N Modi University, Newai, Rajasthan. He was Awarded with first prize for e-poster presentation in “International Conference on Biomedical and Clinical research” Organized by Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara University and Association of Pharmaceutical Research, Dharwad, Karnataka held on 21st and 22nd November 2022.

He has published 12 Scopus/SCI/SCIE-indexed Research articles in reputed international journals. He also has contributed and published 03 Book chapters with reputed international Publishers. He has served as Scientific committee member during National Conference conducted by Department of Pharmacology, Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Manipal, Karnataka in 2022. He has been involved (and gave hands on training for HPLC and In Vitro cell culture techniques) in conducting various Faculty Development Programs and Quality improvement Programs conducted by Department of Pharmacology, Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Manipal, Karnataka during his PhD tenure.

His current research area includes various aspects of novel and target-specific drug delivery, nanotechnology, gene delivery for cancer management. Currently he is exploring the pharmaceutical potential of nanocarriers co-loaded with siRNAs and chemotherapeutic agent for HER2-positive breast cancer management.
