Prof. (Dr.) Ramesh Joshi is a research professional in the field of Plant Biotechnology, Plant Tissue Culture and Molecular Biology. He has got 30 years of research experience and worked as Associate Professor in the department of Botany, SPC Government College, Ajmer, Rajasthan. He received Ph.D. degree in 1991 form Jodhpur University, Jodhpur and worked on “In vitro studies of Forest Plants of Rajasthan”. He obtained his M.Sc. (Botany) and B.Sc. (Biology) from Jodhpur University. He has published 23 research paper and one book chapter. He has guided student for Ph.D. and M.Phil. He is member of selected professional bodies. He has mainly contributed mainly towards research and research teaching/guiding on plant tissue culture and molecular analysis of forest and medicinal plants of Rajasthan.
