About

Dr. Paul Praveen A is an Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering (Design)  in the School of Engineering and Technology, Sharda University, India. He holds a full time Ph.D. from Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), specializing in Honeycomb Composite Sandwich Structural Dynamics. He earned his M.Tech. in Mechanical (Design Engineering) from Karunya University, Coimbatore, and B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Sri Krishna College of Engineering affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. He has seven years of experience in teaching and research. Apart from his academic and research endeavors, he actively participates in program and institutional accreditation activities, primarily focused on research and outcome-based education. Dr. Praveen's interests encompass Dynamics of composite structures, Honeycomb Structures, Hybrid sandwich modeling, and Buckling analysis of structures. He has an impressive publication record with over ten research papers in SCI Indexed high-impact factor international journals, authored four monographs and published one Indian patent. He has completed Six International Certification of core courses in Coursera online platform and completed Five National courses in AICTE-NPTEL India. He has completed DST-SERB funded project worth INR 21.4 Lakh as Project staff in VIT. He is actively engaged in collaborative research work with various researchers in India and abroad. He holds memberships in professional organizations such as the Indian Society of Mechanical Engineers, IIP, and the International Association of Engineers. Dr. Praveen is passionate for doing teaching, research and also focused on conducting FDPs, workshops, delivering guest lectures, and mentoring students to excel in academics and research with paper publication in SCI, WoS, and Scopus indexed journals, facilitating career opportunities for them in India and abroad.
