About

Dr. Chandan Singh is a teaching and research professional in the field of Horticulture (Vegetable Science) with research and teaching experience with different organizations was School of Agriculture ITM, University, Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, MGCGVV, Chitrakoor, Satna Madhya Pradesh and Vivekananda Institute of Hill Agriculture (ICAR), Almora, (Uttarakhand). Her teaching and research work focuses on vegetable breeding, protected cultivation, standardization and assessment of the utility of indigenous agriculture practices. He passed Ph.D. Horticulture (Vegetable Science) from Department of Vegetable Science, College of Agriculture, Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar, (Uttrakhand), India in the year of 2017, M.Sc. (Ag.) Horticulture (Vegetable Science) from Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture Technology and Science, Allahabad, (Uttar Pradesh) India in the year of 2012 and B.Sc. Horticulture from Indira Gandhi Agriculture University, Raipur, (Chhattisgarh) India in the Year 2010, he was qualified National Eligibility (NET) of Agriculture Scientist Recruitment Board (ASRB) ICAR, New Delhi in 2016. He was also awarded by Best Ph.D. Thesis Awards on the occasion of international conference on (CAAAHASSE-2021) at AEDS in collaboration with Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Krishi Vishwa Vidhyalaya, Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh) on March 13-15, 2021 and awarded by Excellence in Teaching Award on the occasion of international conference on (grisaas-2018) at Rajasthan Agricultural Research Institute, Durgapura, Jaipur, Rajasthan in the year of 2018. He has received the Scientist Associate Award for his outstanding contribution in the field of Vegetable Science on the occasion of the National Conference on (ICAAAS-2016) held at Prof. Jayashankar Telangana State Agriculture University, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad (Telangana), he has received Young Scientist Award on the occasion of International conference on (GRISAAS-2017) at Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology is in Udaipur, (Rajasthan) on December 2017 and International Conference at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi on April, 28-29, 2018, and other Young Scientist Award is received on the occasion of International conference on (grisaas-2017) at Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology is in Udaipur Rajasthan in 2017. Doctoral Research Fellow Award on the occasion of National Conference on ‘Emerging Trends in Agricultural Science and its impact on Livelihood held at Shbhit University, Meerut (Uttar Pradesh). He has received Yong Investigator Award to Award at the occasion of International Conference on (ICAABT-2017) Organized by Biologix Research and Innovation Center Ltd. (BRICPL,2017), India held on April 01-02, 2017 in Orchha, (Madhya Pradesh) and he has published more than 20 research papers and 13 popular articles, 6 Book published in titled on ‘Hi-tech Horticulture Nursery Management; ‘The cucumber, Farming System & Sustainable Agriculture, Disease Management of Vegetable crops in the context of sustainable Approach, Protected Cultivation and Secondary Agriculture and A Textbook of Principle of organic farming in India, 6 Book chapters and 1 practical manual in titled Vegetable Seed production in India. He has been awarded life membership of National and International Scientific Research Journals and Scientific Societies. He was attended, 11 International, 16 National Symposiums & Conference, Seminars and 6 Workshop and 7 training in a relevant field, and many other certificates he has received as a certificate of honor.
