About

Dr. Ananda Babu Arumugam is Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering in School of Engineering and Technology, Sharda University, India. Dr. Ananda Babu obtained his doctorate from Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Vellore in Dynamics and instability behavior of rotating tapered delaminated composite plates. He obtained his B.E-Manufacturing Engineering in College of Engineering, Guindy, Chennai and his M.E- Engineering Design in PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore from Anna University. Dr. Ananda Babu has experience about 9 years in both teaching and research. He has published more than 14 research papers in peer-reviewed international journals. His area of research interest includes dynamics of composite structures, Damage modeling, Hybrid Materials modeling and failure analysis of structures. He has authored three monographs in his fields. Dr. Ananda Babu is one of the Co-PI of ongoing Indo-Egypt joint research project sponsored by the Department of Science and Technology (Govt. of India), New Delhi.
