Dr. Dharmendra Kumar Dubey is an Associate Professor in the department of clinical research, School of Allied Health Sciences, Sharda University. He has completed his Ph.D. degree in Statistics from the department of statistics, Gauhati University, Assam, India, and did Post-graduation in Statistics from Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University, Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh, India, and Master in Population Studies from International Institute for Population Sciences (IIPS), Mumbai, India. He has professional experience of more than 10 years in teaching, research and hospital setup, and health-related issues in India. He has worked as an Assistant professor at Symbiosis International (Deemed) University, Pune, India. He has worked as Senior Statistical Officer at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, Govt. of India. He has worked as a Consultant (Research Officer) at “National Institute of Health and Family Welfare (NIHFW)”, an autonomous organization, under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. He has worked as a Statistical Assistant at a renowned hospital named “Institute of Human Behaviour and Allied Sciences (IHBAS)” (An autonomous institution under the Govt. of NCT of Delhi)”, Delhi. He has worked as Research Officer at “Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS)”, Mumbai. He has expertise in Biostatistical methodologies pertaining to data monitoring and its management; analysis and report preparation; interpretation of hospital-related health indicators of the outdoor patient department (OPD) and inpatient department (IPD) and also in handling large scale surveys data like National Family Health Survey, National Survey on Extent and Pattern of Substance Use in India using SPSS and STATA and having strong analytical skills. He has participated in various national/international seminars/conferences and presented several research papers focusing on the area of child health in India. He has been in South Korea to attend an international summer seminar on Advanced Statistical Methods for Demographic Analysis and published many research papers in peer-reviewed national and international journals. Also, reviewed many research articles for the reputed journal.
