What is Orientation?
Orientation is your first official welcome to Sharda University. It is an initiative to make new students aware about the education culture at Sharda University. It includes events, workshops and information activities that introduce you to student life at the University and prepares you before the semester classes begin.
How long does orientation last?
Orientation is a two day virtual programme specifically designed to get you acquainted with your school and department at Sharda University, as well as to make you aware about all rules & regulations of the University.

I haven’t paid the semester fee. Will I still be able to attend the Orientation programme?
Although to register in your programme, a minimum one semester fee, admission fee and examination fee is the prerequisite, but due to Coronavirus pandemic, Sharda University has tied-up with Grayquest, an educational finance company (For Indian National students only) to pay fees in easy instalments. Please get in touch with our University representatives at 0120-4570000.
I just confirmed my admission and paid my deposit fee. How come I still can't register for orientation?
The enrollment deposit usually takes at least two full business days to process. For any queries, please call 0120-4570000.
Can my parents attend Orientation?
Sharda University Orientation is a virtual programme organised to get you acquainted with your school and department at Sharda University. Parents/Guardians can also join the students during this programme.
Do I really need to attend Orientation?
YES. Orientation is required for all incoming students to get more familiar with the all rules & regulations, academic facilities, faculties. Through Orientation, students will meet with an academic advisor, have the opportunity to register for classes, and learn about the functioning of the University.
What if I cannot attend the session I registered for?
That’s okay. School wise orientation/Induction programme will also be conducted later on, to make you aware about necessary rules & regulations. Also to assist you, a Student Hand Book is also available on orientation microsite in the PDF version.
What parts of Student Orientation are mandatory?
All activities are mandatory, including both educational and interactive sessions. Each activity is designed to help new students be as successful as possible during their first year in college, inside and outside of the classroom.
If I have questions about Financial Aid, Hostel, etc, will I be able to ask those during Orientation?

Where can I get more information about the university's response to Covid-19?

What if my question wasn’t answered in the FAQ?

What if I do not receive a confirmation mail?
There are a few possible reasons why you did not receive the confirmation mail. One could be that you did not complete the admission procedure or our mail could be in your junk folder. Please check your email settings.

How can I join classes?
Live online classes will be conducted through ERP, Microsoft Teams or Google meet etc till the COVID’19 Government guidelines for real time class conduction at the Campus. The faculty Members will upload timetable, session plan, e-content, take attendance, collect feedback on iCloudEMS ERP. For further details visit www.sharda.ac.in/orientation/
Where will be the attendance marked?
n Student Login (Pplsoft), each student has own attendance module in that they will know the own attendance as Day Wise & Course Wise.

How will practical be conducted?
The University has plans to conduct Practical classes through virtual mode .For details kindly read our Student Manual under the section “Student Info Centre”
How will written exams be conducted?

Where will class be conducted?
Online classes would be conducted. You would receive one mail from Microsoft on behalf of Sharda University for invitation to register on Microsoft Team in your Sharda email ID.

What is the Schedule of classes?
In Student Login (Pplsoft), each student has own time table module which is only for viewing purpose of time table. In Timetable, student’s information is also given. You may also contact your class co-ordinator. Detailed list is available under “Student Info Centre”
Where can I get Study material?
In Student Login, Academic Content module has all the uploaded content documents by the faculty on iCloudems ERP.For details kindly read our Student Manual under the section “Student Info Centre)
