During a meeting of the State Education Ministers in 2015-2016 presided over by then HRD Minister Smriti Irani, the Centre rolled out two 4-year ‘integrated courses’ – B.A. B.Ed. and B.Sc. B.Ed.

The Human Resource Development Ministry revised the teacher education courses’ duration and syllabus following the adjudication.
