Event Description
The International Division of Sharda University hosted a visit of 32 Academic Faculty members and important officials from International College, Rajmangala University of Technology Krungthep, Thailand on 30th of January 2019. The delegation was headed by the Vice President of Rajmangala University of Technology Krungthep, Mrs. Prattana Srisuk. During the meeting, the delegates met with Honorable Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. G.R.C. Reddy, Registrar Mr. Amal Kumar and the Deans of all schools.
Prof. R.M.Mehra, Nodal Officer, International Relations, gave a detailed presentation of Sharda University & its accomplishments over the years. The delegates confirmed their intent to collaborate and enter into a Memorandum of Understanding for Academic Cooperation.
Rajamangala University of Technology Krungthep (UTK) provides Thai and international students a unique learning experience with its international programs. English is the language of instruction for all subjects. The university has provided educational services for over a decade and is considered to be the number one institution in the Rajamangala University Group. The universitys curriculum embraces global context and the local Thai reality greatly enhancing the knowledge and the performance of the students. Both Thai and international students learn together in a supportive environment, sharing and exchange experiences.
Mr Ashok Daryani gave an introduction of Sharda University & Sharda Hospital by providing fair reasons as to why the World is truly here! and emphasizing on the vision & mission of Honble Chancellor, Sharda University, Shri P.K.Gupta of making Sharda University Indias No.1 Global University.
The delegates acknowledged the hospitality of Sharda University and the two parties agreed to work together to start Research Collaboration, and establish joint programs, Student and Academic Faculty exchange, as well as short term visits, cultural programs, summer programs, and internships.
