IT was one of the great experiences of my life to be a part of a reputed newspaper like Hindustan Times.

Entering at Hindustan Times building in itself was a wonderful experience. My brief stint here was not just an internship or a part of academics, it taught me lot more things. I was there to learn, to test my own skills and to see the world through the eyes of a journalist.

As the days passed by, my work at HTcity (Hindustan Times) became a passion for me. I wanted to prove myself. I was especially eager to get at least one byline. But I got three which was an awesome and wonderful feeling. It made me feel like a professional. Fashion and Lifestyle journalism is my dream and I saw my internship as the first step in that direction. I was on cloud nine when I first saw my name in print in the newspaper. Not only writing, designing newspaper was also a fun.

Handling telephonic interviews on the very first day made me nervous. But soon I overcame my initial hesitation. During the course of my internship, I interviewed designers like Nida Mahmood and Sabyasanchi Mukherjee, stylist Gautam Kalra, makeup artist Niti Luthra and Ashmeen Munjal and Dr. Praveen Kumar (HOD, Dental Department, Max).

Apart from work, meeting actors and director and producer of newly released films like Humshakals and Ek Villian was a cherry on cake.

All these things work as a power booster to your hectic schedule. The experience was good with lots of fun and now I enjoy writing
