After searching for long hours, filling the forms of various colleges, crossing the hurdles of every kind one gets admission at Dream College. But the struggles do not stop here. We have to create our niche amongst our peers. Definitely first semester is very busy. The important thing is how we adjust to college in the starting. As we enter college the initial few weeks are too busy. Buying books, stationary, organizing, knowing your professors, planning weeks and further a month long planning is required to perform well in class.
TIME FOR ACADEMICS
Student’s main aim is to score A in every course that one has taken in first semester. One realizes the need to study hard. So students devote more time in library for preparing notes. They decide to schedule themselves in a way that their evenings should be devoted to library.
Student should be open in doing friendship with people of every age group. Be it junior or seniors they should develop relationship who ever they get in touch with. They usually don’t do friendship with every body but only at debate clubs, while singing evening songs with some of their peers, as well as with their classmates. By doing all this, students can develop good relations with people from different backgrounds.
You are away from home, your childhood friends, your neighbors. When you are away from home then it is not easy to achieve goals. But being competitive and keeping yourself busy is the right approach. Students accomplish things which other people find it difficult to do. Strike a balance in personal and professional life as both are important aspects.
Leading University like Sharda gives opportunity to their students to become socially active in the beginning by organizing talent hunt, fresher’s party, music concerts, Mr. and Miss Fresher’s, etc. The college years are not only are most precious years of life but also they are very crucial years. It is this period when you acquire discipline for life, you choose to do things which solves the purpose and reject to follow things that are not good. So be wise and live a constructive and meaningful college life. The smarter you are the more accomplished life you will lead.
