About the Programme

BMIT is a four-year undergraduate degree programme designed to fulfil the need for skilful imaging technologies. Students will learn about breakthrough diagnostic imaging. techniques.
With the advances in the imaging techniques such as X-rays Ultra-sound Sonography techniques CT-scanning MRI Mammography Dexa Scan PET-scanning there is a great demand for the imaging technologists. The hands-on experience in the Department of Radiology from the first day onwards will enable the student to understand the nature of the illness beginning with routine imaging to CT and MRI scans. The students will receive excellent and exhaustive training in these fields to be able to assist senior radiologists. Students are provided free training on advanced imaging machines like digital x-ray 128 Slice CT Scan 3 Tesla MRI DEXA Mammography etc.
This programme of medical imaging technology in Radiologic science is a combination of classroom and clinical 
experiences using recent trends and the latest technology.
