Professor Vijender Singh has completed his graduation (B. Pharmacy) & post graduation (M. Pharmacy) from Delhi University, Delhi and has completed his Ph. D. from Jamia Hamdard (Hamdard University), Delihi. He secured first position in M. Pharmacy Combined Examination of Delhi University and received GOLD MEDAL from then Honble Deputy Minister for Health & Family Welfare Ms. Kumud Joshi on 18 th November, 1984,
Dr. Singh has an experience of 22 years in teaching out of which he held the position of Principal & Professor (Ram-eesh Institute, Greater Noida, KIET School of Pharmacy, Ghaziabad etc.) for 15 years. Dr.Singh has an industrial experience of 10 years in Research & Development, Quality Control & Production in Herbal Cosmetic Industries holding the key positions of Head Quality Control in Ms. Shahnaz Herbals Pvt. Ltd. & Ms. Eastern Capsulations Pvt. Ltd., Head Research & Development in AIMIL Pharmaceuticals (I) Ltd and General Manager in Production Department in AIMIL Pharmaceuticals (I) Ltd.
Dr.Singh has 83 international/national research publications and has attended 20 conferences and seminars till date. His article on Sweet Pill for success was published in “Education Times” the Times of India on November 22nd, 2004. Dr. Singh has also reviewed many reputed journals as well.
A total of Six students have completed their Ph. D under his guidance and 13 students are still pursuing their Ph. D under him. 20 students of M. Pharma have completed their degrees under his guidance.
Currently Dr.Singh is presiding as the member of -
Research Degree Committee & Board of Studies Committee (Pharmacy), A. P. J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow.
He is also the member of Inspection Committee of Pharmacy Council of India.

He received “Star Performer” circle membership award for two consecutive years in 2007 & 2008 for the outstanding performance in Uttar Pradesh Technical University from His Excellency Shri T. Rajeshwer, Governor U.P. & Chancellor of Uttar Pradesh Technical University & Prof. Prem Vert , Vice Chancellor of Uttar Pradesh Technical University.
More than hundred students qualified GPAT under his supervision.

- Phyto-chemical, Phyto-pharmaceutical & Phyto-pharmacological investigations of indigenous medicinal plants.
- Characterization of volatile constituents of volatile oil bearing plants.
