About

Dr. P. S. Jha have done his Ph. D. degree in Statistics in the Department of Statistics, Banaras Hindu University Varanasi-221005, India, on the topic '' Estimation of Population Parameters Using Auxiliary Variable in Finite Population in the Presence of Non-Response“. He also done B.Sc. and M. Sc. in Statistics from Department of Statistics, Banaras Hindu University Varanasi-221005, India.

He published 14 research papers in the reputed international/national journals and one book chapter in book which published by international publishers also attended and presented papers/attended/ Invited talk/Organizing Member in more than 15 national and international conferences, workshops.

Initially he worked as a Project Manager under DBT sponsored project (P-07/615) entitled “Nutrigenomics based research and Genetic awareness programme for the improvement of Maternal-Neonatal healthcare” in Dept. of Molecular & Human Genetics, Institute of Science, Banaras Hindu University. Then he joined as a Project Fellow under the Special Assistance Programme in Dept. of Statistics, Institute of Science, Banaras Hindu University.

His research interest lies in the area of sampling theory, design of experiment, biostatistics and health statistics with expertise in computing Languages like R, FORTRAN, MS Office Suite (Word, Excel & PowerPoint), LaTeX and statistical software like SPSS.

Currently, He is working as Assistant Professor Dept. of Mathematics (Statistics), SBSR, Sharda University.
