About

Myself Dr P. S. Jha and I have done my Ph. D. degree in Statistics in the Department of Statistics, Banaras Hindu University Varanasi-221005, India, on the topic '' Estimation of Population Parameters Using Auxiliary Variable in Finite Population in the Presence of Non-Response“. I have also done B.Sc. and M. Sc. in Statistics from Department of Statistics, Banaras Hindu University Varanasi-221005, India. I have published 10 research papers in the reputed international/national journals and one book chapter in book which published by international publishers also attended and presented papers in more than 10 national and international conferences and workshops. Initially I worked as a Project Manager under DBT sponsored project (P-07/615) entitled “Nutrigenomics based research and Genetic awareness programme for the improvement of Maternal-Neonatal healthcare” in Dept. of Molecular & Human Genetics, Institute of Science, Banaras Hindu University. Then I got an opportunity to join as a Project Fellow under the Special Assistance Programme in Dept. of Statistics, Institute of Science, Banaras Hindu University. My research interest lies in the area of sampling theory, design of experiment, biostatistics and health statistics with expertise in computing Languages like R, FORTRAN, MS Office Suite (Word, Excel & PowerPoint), LaTeX and statistical software like SPSS. Currently, I am working as Assistant Professor Dept. of Mathematics (Statistics), SBSR, Sharda University.
