About

I have completed my B.Sc. in chemistry from Hansraj College, University of Delhi and  M.Sc. from IIT Roorkee. I have submitted my  PhD thesis under the supervision of Prof. R. Nagarajan, Delhi University. My PhD work has focused on the synthesis and characterization of various multifunctional Inorganic materials such as spinel, metal borates, layered double hydroxide and derivative of polyaniline.

Area of Interest

Development of new catalytic materials such as layered double hydroxides, magnetic transition metal and rare earth borates, spinels system and polyaniline derivatives and their multifunctional applications using different synthetic procedures (wet chemical, solid state, sol-gel, hydrolysis etc) involving novel reactivity concepts to enable the rapid removal of industrial effluents. Application of new characterization techniques and software's for the exploration of the synthesized materials.
