About

Prof. (Dr.) YogeshTripathi is presently working as Dean of School of Allied Health Sciences. Prior to the current position he was   Vice Chancellor of SantoshUniversity Ghaziabad. Dr .Yogesh Tripathi did his M.B.B.S from MLB Medical College Jhansi, MD in Physiology for Institute of Medical sciences Banaras Hindu University  Varanasi and PhD in Medicine from Kasturba Medical College Mangalore( At present Manipal University). He is well known Nationally and Internationally for his publications and books. He has published over 70  research papers and was awarded BK Anand Research award in 1996. He has guided PhD and   MD students and working in the field of Physiology since last 39 years .He is well trained  in reproductive biomedicine, experimental cardiovascular medicine, medical Education and medical bioethics.from MLB Medical College Jhansi, MD in Physiology for Institute of Medical sciences Banaras Hindu University  Varanasi and PhD in Medicine from Kasturba Medical College Mangalore( At present Manipal University). PAST RESPONSIBILITIES:

As Vice-Chancellor

  1. Provide leadership, academic and administrative to the University

  2. Responsible for the development of academic programmes of the university. Overseeing and monitoring the administration of the academic programmes and general administration of the university to ensure efficiency and good order of the university. Convening meetings of any of the authorities, bodies or committees as and whenever necessary.

  3. Ensuring that the directives of the university grant commission, the provisions of the Act, Statutes, Ordinances and Regulations are strictly observed are properly implemented.

Responsibilities in Past in the other Medical colleges

In Gharian medical college worked as Professor and Chairman , department of Physiology .Main responsibilities were

  1. To improve the teaching methodologies and enrichment of curriculum of Al Jabal Al Gharbi University , Gharian Libya
  2. Taking classes for UG and PG students
  3. Establishing medical education department
  4. To get the college accredited by National accreditation council and International accreditation agencies

In Kasturba Medical College India

Prior to joining Medical College in Libya was working in Kasturba Medical College Mangalore (Manipal University) and main responsibilities were Taking undergraduate (M.B.B.S) and post graduate classes (M.D and M.Sc )

  • Supervision of on going research projects in the department
  • Over all development of the department
  • Evaluation of staff members teaching methodologies and suggesting them to take appropriate measures to improve teaching skills Was member of academic council and board of studies

Other responsibilities:

  • Was one of the active members of the medical education unit which conducted orientation programs for freshly joined post graduate students of all medical disciplines
  • Was one of the expert members of bioethics committee to scrutinize the ongoing clinical trials in the hospitals and experimental research projects on animals
