About Department

The Department of Medical-Surgical Nursing at Sharda University is designed to assess the students in developing in-depth knowledge & expertise of the Medical & Surgical Nursing field. The department conducts various activities like Guest lectures, Seminars and Workshops to keep students updated with the knowledge and skill required in the field of Medical-Surgical Nursing. The faculty of the department has vast experience and is focused to prepare confident, compassionate and caring health professionals.

The faculty also foresee the enhancement of the functional ability of the students towards providing holistic & individual care in the field of Medical & Surgical Nursing. The Medical Surgical Nursing Department ensures each of its students is equipped with the ability to handle life-threatening situations and to independently operate sophisticated medical equipment like ECG machines, ventilators, and monitors used in critical care units.
