SBS's Department of Marketing is at the forefront of the pioneering thinking affecting today’s markets, consumer behaviour and marketing functions. The department is committed to creating a unique centre to acquire, create and disseminate marketing domain knowledge to the students. It provides a holistic development to the students in the various functional areas of marketing.
Every year, the department organises various conferences, seminars, symposiums, guest lectures, field visits, live projects to give students all round development.
The department comprises of ten specialists from industry and academia having vast exposure in all the domain areas of marketing. The research conducted by the professors appears in rigorous, relevant publications that in turn feed into the department’s teaching activities.
- Apart from the general marketing and specialisation disciplines, the department has commenced offering disciplines like Digital Marketing & Marketing Analytics as per the demand of changing industry practices.
