About Department

The Department of Community Health Nursing at Sharda University is aimed at providing a comprehensive system of education and prepares students to impart highly competent nursing services. The department demonstrates excellence in the nursing practice, education, administration and research. It is structured to help the students understand and appreciate the holistic lifestyle of individuals, families & community.

The faculty of the Community Health Nursing department focuses on developing students’ interest in holistic patient care by organising a workshop for students on various practical topics. Apart from the practical training in the laboratories, students get exposed to a wide variety of clinical conditions in the parent hospital, Sharda Hospital, which is equipped with the most advanced technology of healthcare.

  • Organized a program on 'World Cancer Day' on February 2017 at Ghanghola Village, Panchayatan, Dankaur, Greater Noida.

  • Organized Mass health education on Family Planning Nukad Natak on 21st February 2017 at Ghanghola village, RHTC.

Infrastructure

Well equipped laboratories, a well-stocked library, 900 bedded Parent Hospital and good infrastructure as per INC guidelines.
