Training students in a practical environment forms a vital part of the academic plans of the Department, in consideration of the fact that exposure to real-life situations is an inevitable aspect of a student’s overall academic development. In order to accomplish this objective, the Department conducts periodic seminars and workshops.
Student Society/Clubs
Students are encouraged and mentored to initiate and promote technical knowledge dissemination through various societies and clubs. Recently the students formed the CESSU (Civil Engineering Society of Sharda University) and affiliated it to the ICI (Indian Concrete Institute). The society was inaugurated by a series of technical seminars delivered by eminent speakers from ICI and academia.
