Dr. Prateeti Chakraborty received her M.Sc and Ph.D degree in inorganic chemistry from University of Calcutta. She is well experienced in teaching inorganic and analytical chemistry courses for more than seven years in undergraduate and post graduate levels. She is an Coordination Chemist. Her major research focus is to synthesize some coordination complexes of transition and post-transition metal ions of varying nuclearity with some designed ligands in order to imitate the structural and/or functional properties of some metallobiosites and thereby to obtain meaningful corroborative models of the targeted metallobiosites As a teacher she want to contribute her endeavor for the betterment of mankind. She has published twenty five research publications in well known international peer reviewed journals.
