Sharda University is proud of its globally famous courses and their expanding reach to different countries across continents like Europe and Africa. While Sharda University always had a rich base of students from African countries, Viktorija Matjuka, a student from Latvia in Northern Europe has joined the Bachelor’s course in Design at Sharda University’s School of Designing. Viktorija is the first student from Europe at Sharda University. This officially marks our entry into Europe and we’re hopeful, we’ll continue to motivate students to be a part of our truly global university. In an interactive interview with the International Student Forum at Sharda University, Viktorija Matjuka talks about her journey to Sharda and shares her experiences of studying at this university.

Viktorija hails from a simple family in Latvia, a beautiful country in Northern Europe, famous for its song and dance festivals. According to Viktorija, her country is spectacular and has an amazing scenic beauty. Viktorija loves reading books, listening to music and she is fond of playing video games. She is particularly interested in graphic designing. Viktorija got introduced to Sharda University by an education counselor in Lativa and then her parents decided to enroll her in the designing school at Sharda University. Viktorija loves interacting with students and faculty at Sharda University.

Sharda University is proud to have Viktorija as her design student. Like Viktorija, a young student, Sheikh Ahmad Tijan Bah from Gambia in West Africa is making Sharda University proud with his association. Sheik is one of the brightest students in his small country and is currently studying Mechanical Engineering at Sharda University. After completing his engineering education, he plans to go back and work for his country. In a talk with the International Student Forum, Sheikh gets candid and talks about his country, its people and his aspirations. Sheikh mentions that Gambia is a very small country, nearly ten times smaller than the Indian State of Uttar Pradesh! Sheik further tells us that Gambia has been ranked as one of the most peaceful countries in Africa, favoring and respecting diversity of thoughts, culture, tribes and religion.
