  • The department has conducted Free Dental Health Camps in more than 100 villages of G.B. Nagar district.
  • Till date, the department has treated more than 5,000 patients since its establishment in 2008. Special priviledge is provided on a regular basis for camp patients by sending school's vehicle for their easy commutation and providing them the comprehensive treatment absolutely free.
  • A Special oral health drive by the phrase 'Healthy Mouth Healthy Smiles' was conducted for school going children by targeting 43 schools in the region and imparting them oral health education messages in our oral health museum.
  • 100% result in IIIrd year professional exam in public health dentistry in 2011, teaching methodology of latest audio -visual & graphic aids being used by the department.
  • The department celebrated Dentist Day on March 06, 2011 with the main objective to mark the importance of enduring oral hygiene practices at a very young age. A Skit (play) educating the kindergardens at Dolphin’s kids play school (Greater Noida) and Special free denture programmes was organized for elderly.
  • The department has strived hard in developing and setting of Oral Health Museum in SDS, Sharda University. This museum acts as a major boon to the college in a way that apart from the oral health education guidelines, counseling for the layman, it also helped the BDS students in understanding& gaining the interest in the subject better.The Oral Health Museum comprises of charts, posters, flannel graphs, 3-Dimensional models, banners, leaflets etc(in both Hindi and English).
