| Biography Dr. Dulal Goldar has been Awarded Distinguished Faculty by DCE Alumni Association on Feb.06, 2010. Also the Former Principal, DCE & Professor of Structural Engineering. He has worked as Head Of Department, Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering, Delhi College of Engineering & Faculty of Technology, Delhi University. Dr Goldar has a solid 40 years of Teaching, Research and Consultancy experience. He has established Asian Committee on Experimental Mechanics (ACEM) in 1997,Japan being the HQ of ACEM. Steering Committee member of ACEM from INDIA .He has guided 03 PhD thesis and 25 ME thesis. He has been holding presentations of research papers and Chairing of technical sessions for International Conferences in USA on ten occasions..He has even presented research papers for SEM International Conferences in Montreal, CANADA, 1984. Alongwith this he has been involved in the presentation of research papers and Chairing of technical sessions for International Conferences in JAPAN on four occasions and also for Presentation of research papers and Chairing of technical sessions for International Conferences ICEM in SINGAPORE, 2005. Delivered invited lectures at the Department of Opto-mechatronics, Faculty of System Engineering, Wakayama University, Japan during the year 1997 and 1999. Also Organized ICEM05 (www.icem05.org) International Congress on Experimental Mechanics September 12-14, 2005 as Chairman with the help of SEMDCE student’s Chapter and ACEM (Asian Committee on Experimental Mechanics) at India Habitat Center, Lodi Road, New Delhi. There were about one hundred participants all over the world. The credit of Organizing ICI- NCR Delhi Chapter: International Congress on Innovative World of Concrete December 11-13, 2009 as Member of the Technical Committee and Chairman also goes to him where he presented three research papers in the conference.
