This emerging subject is also multi disciplinary in nature and includes most of the core branches of science and engineering. With growth in understanding the physics and chemical world through sufficient ideas and discoveries, the M.Tech and Ph.D. programme in Nano Technology offers an opportunity to graduates to develop expertise towards fundamentals of science and engineering in context of technological applications. It is well known that Nanotechnology is a field of applied science covering a broad range of subjects relevant to Science and Engineering. The main unifying theme is the control of matter on a scale smaller than 1 micrometer, approximately 1 to 100 nanometers, as well as the fabrication of devices of this size. Extensive focus has been drawn to replicate hands over theoretical and laboratory work.
