The Indian Economy is growing at a rapid pace and currently is the World's second fastest growing economy after China. The pro-active government policies and focus towards development of quality infrastructure are driving up the demand for real estate business in the country such as shopping complex, malls, variety of stores and office complex etc. The country's $12 billion real estate & infrastructure market is expanding at a 30 percent annual rate, which is predicted to touch $90 billion in next 10 years.
 
School of Business study offers this innovative professional programme reflecting the needs and requirements of the industry and society. It will be our effort to integrate the management subjects with Architecture and Planning courses offered by the Sharda University  to make the infrastructure Management, the first programme of its kind to be offered by any University in the country, It is meant to educate young brains in the full range of skills demanded of today by infrastructure management professionals. The program has been designed by the program design committee consisting of professionals from real estate, govt., architect and academia.
 

Objectives

The programs aims at preparing young minds for responsible positions in construction industry, retail of estate, brokers, planners, contractors and other services with high level of motivation. The emphasis in the programme is on:
  • To develop professionals in the area of estate & infrastructure management
  • To provide inputs to the professionals on the  dynamics of real estate & infrastructure management
  • To impart knowledge as how to finance real estate & infrastructure projects
  • Value system based on Indian ethos and ethical systems for real estate brokers
  • To prepare professionals for project estimation, costing and time & schedule management
  • Marketing of real estate & infrastructure products Innovative thinking and adoption of new ideas, systems and procedures
